DEATH TO THE STRAWBERRYby Idiosyn
Rating: PG
Word Count: 308
Character: Ichigo
Summary: In response to Viz’s highly unnecessary ‘nickname’

Ichigo was not a happy guy. He needed very few things to be content, but those things never seemed to want to go his way for any amount of time. For some reason, things always got bothersome around him and left him in a perpetual state of ‘not-happy’. And very unfortunate cause of his unhappiness was people. Mainly people that just didn’t know when to quit.

His fists couldn’t seem to get the point across any better than his words did.

His mother used to look at his scrapes and worry at them. She knew why they were there, but she knew there was a limit to what she could do for him. His father used to look at those same scrapes and scoffed at him.

Taking martial arts classes had actually been his father’s idea. Masaki wasn’t too happy with it. She didn’t like the idea that her cute little son would get into battles. She liked the idea of big, brainless bullies fighting her defenseless, cute little son even less.

The local martial arts teacher went to their clinic. After prompting from Isshin, he talked to Masaki and alleviated her worries. So, with promises of teaching little Ichigo confidence, level headedness and giving him a forum in which to make friends, Ichigo’s mother allowed him to attend classes.

Whenever Masaki wasn’t looking, Isshin would put his boy’s talents to the test. Just for safety precautions, he’d say. The ‘precautions’ only got worse after Masaki died. But it served its purpose, Ichigo became the baddest mo-fo to walk the Karakura district and had enough sense not to get a big head over it.

But still….

“Hey, hey! There he is! That carrot top!”

He scowled.

“Oh, yeah! Iiiiiichiiiigooooo~!”

If there wasn’t a chance they’d haunt him…..

“Hey, there Strawberry!”

He so wished he could kill them all…..
